Fanfiction printing: legal or illegal?

It all started when a website owner stated that she had printed a fanfic for her own personal enjoyment because she was going on a trip. Some on said that she should print off "The Office" by tby789 and Alsion asked for the PDF file. Some one tweeted her the link to a fanfic downloader and she tweeted the link to is several times. A pretty improtant person twilight wise tweeted her these few tweets (to understand better start at the tweet on the bottom :-)):

@TwiFans You, as a website owner should know that anything COPYRIGHTED should never be willingly distributed w/o owner's permission.
@TwiFans Stephenie isn't selling Midnight Sun and it's still illegal to print.
@TwiFans But how do YOU know that people printing this won't distribute for selling/profiting under another name?
@TwiFans Because you are distributing their work without their permission! Of course they have every right to take down their work.
@TwiFans Yes, but its a PUBLICLY COPYRIGHTED content that you are allowing people to print. Don't be suprised when you get served with a C&D
@TwiFans You do realize that these authors can pull all their stories now that you have publicized this issue.
@TwiFans They want you to read it ONLINE. Printing= distribument without author's permission.
@TwiFans Yeah but that's just like having Stephenie's Midnight Sun PDF file and printing that... still illegal.
@TwiFans Uhhhhhh I'm pretty sure thats illegal.. since these authors own all their content for the fan fictions...

Sooo this leads me to my post today. Is printing fanfictions wrong? Also notice that you see the word "distribute" alot. Alison was not going to sell it to anyone. Who want to be on a long flight with nothing to do? No one. I feel that if you sell the printed work for a profit that its wrong but for your own enjoyment? No- I feel that that is fine. Soooo tell me in the comments what you feel.

Hush,Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick Review

I know I know another book review but seriously this book was so good I had to review it. I had known about this book since the summer. The second I saw the cover I was so intriged ( I mean come on how could you not be intriged by a cover like that?!) I scrolled down the page and read the summary and I was all "Woa. I have to read that book" so I patiently awaited October 13th (when the book was released) and I eventually got the book on November 25th at Hastings. This Monday (12/7) I started reading the book and I got to chapter 9 the 1st day- I was automatically hooked. I couldnt put the book down. It is full of twists and turns and mysteriosity and well.. Patch :-). I never knew what was goign to happen next so I had to keep on reading. Becca does such an amazing job telling the story. Yep I currently have 4 fictional boyfriends (Edward,Peeta(Hunger Games), Sam (Shiver) and now Patch teehee). I finished the book at 1:36 PM this evening and I already cant wait to reread it and of course I'm waiting (..not so patiently) until the 2nd book Crescendo to be released. If you havent read this book you really .... really should. Like what are you waiting for?!

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater Review

Okay so before I start this review I must say that I saw this book at Hastings weeks before actually bought the book. I saw the book and read the inside flap and thought "wow this sounds really good" but I put it back on the shelf. Eventually I bought the book and I read the book in 3 days. I finished it last night at 6:25. I absolutely loved it and I cant wait until "Linger", the 2nd book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series- July 20th 2010 has never seemed so far away lol. Shiver was amazing and everything I look for in a book. Sam **sigh**, Sam was great. This book was really good and I can deffinately see myself recommending this book for years and years. I applaude you Ms. Stiefavater.

New Moon Movie Review

Honestly I dont have anything negative to say about this movie. The acting was fantastic, the makeup was fantastic, the clothes were fantastic, just everything was fantastic. The movie did seem to go really fast but that was probably just because of the fact that anyone who has read the books knew what was going to happen. The pack was awesome. The Volturi was awesome. Eric (justin chon) cracked me up when he was crying when were watching Romeo&Juliet- and Mike just looked bored lol. I thought that Billy Burke rocked Charlie once again. Ashely did a fantastic job. Poor Nikki didnt have any lined much at all but I thought that the 1 she did have was an important one. Kellan cracked me up as did Jackson. The dialoge of the movie Bella,Jake, and Mike watched just cracked me up. Oh God I l LOVED this movie. Chris Weitz is a GENEOUS!

Meeeeeppp! I cant wait until tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the day. Tomorrow I shall sit in a theater and I shall watch the awesomess that Chris Weitz calls New Moon.. well Stephenie actually wrote the book first but oh well! I have yet to personally see a negative review. I've tried to steer away from as many spoilers as possible but thats kind of impossible isnt it? I'm so excited right now. The excitement can barely stay contained in me- I'm having an out-of-body expierence here. You all have no hacking clue how painful last night was because EVERYONE I follow on twitter was sending their little "MEEEP! getting ready to head to the theater" tweets... everyone but me......
I was seriously having myself a pity party lol but I dont have to wait much longer. I'm going to see new moon for the the 1st time tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon------ and I cant wait!

Sexy Sexy Hot Hot!

That's right people the GERMAN rock band, Tokio Hotel. Gosh! Where do I even BEGIN?! How about with Bill Kaulitz?! Umm Yeh:

What was I talking about? oh yeh, Tokio Hotel XD. Anyways so yeh they are pretty awesome but then again I am a sucker for a German accent....
I thought their "Scream" ablum was good ,boy that was just a taste of what kind of rocktastic music those 4 German boys can make. Their music is rock.. but it isnt "life sucks. i want to die. i want to kill you" kind of metal rock.It's the kind of rock music that kids my age should listen to (please dont take that the wrong way) yet full adults could jam to their music. "Humanoid" is so hacking amazing words can even beging to describe what an amazing ablum it is!

Seriously if you havent checked this band I recommend you do it... FAST.... like RIGHT NOW

Awesomeness of Fanmade Videos and Fanmade Video MAKERS

So, today I was watching tiffanyd666's new video and I got the inspiration for this post. The whole time I was watching the video, I was automatically reminded of a time where I would spend all day doing nothing but watching fanmade trailers or fanmade twilight music videos. Then I was remembered that Twilight fansites had sent in their favorite fanmade videos to a site who's name absolutely escapes me right now. So I thought I would do a list of my favorite fanmade video makers :-)
